Kevaughn Frater (1994) is a Jamaican footballer who plays as a mildfielder and forward. He currently plays for the Baltimore Blast in the Major Arena Soccer League. Holding scoring records in the USL, Frater is also a pivotal scorer for the Rovers. His celebrations rile up the crowd and helped the squad become known at TST and internationally for their engaging style of play.
Professional Club Career
Frater began his career at Harbour View, joining the senior squad at sixteen. Over his tenure, he played 65 matches and scored 8 goals.
2016: Real Monarchs SLC, in the United Soccer League side
2017: Frater joined Colorado Springs Switchbacks. He scored 12 goals in 29 appearances.
2018: Frater played with Phoenix Rising
2018-2020: Frater signed with New Mexico United. He scored 14 goals in 29 appearances in 2019.
2020: Frater joined Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC.
2020: Frater signed with Maccabi Netanya, Isreal
2021: Hapoel Nof HaGalil, Isreal
2022: Frater returned to New Mexico United on 8 August 2022.
2023-Present: Baltimore Blast, MASL
International Career
Frater earned his second call-up to the Jamaica senior national team in November 2019. He made his debut on 15 November 2019 in a CONCACAF Nations League game against Antigua & Barbuda.
Honors
As of 2024, Frater still holds the highest scoring rate in New Mexico United franchise history with 17 goals in his 2019 season.
2017: Named USL Player of the Week after a 2-goal performance against LA Galaxy II on 10 June 2017.
2019: With New Mexico United he was voted USL Championship Player of the Month. He had a stellar April 2019, scoring 4 goals, including a hat-trick against Portland Timbers 2.
