Named “Most Dynamic Player at TST” by the MASL scouting report, Owayne Omar Gordon (born 1991) is a tireless and intelligent Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a forward and winger for Montego Bay United in the National Premier League, Jamaica.
Professional club Career
Gordon began his professional career with Arnett Gardens in 2011, making ten appearances and scoring two goals. He then moved to Montego Bay United, where he played from 2011 to 2016, making 128 appearances and scoring 37 goals.
2016: Gordon joined Indy Eleven, making 23 appearances and scoring two goals.
2017–2018: With San Antonio FC for the 2017 USL season, he made 37 appearances and scored six goals.
2019–2020: Gordon played for Oklahoma City Energy FC, making 42 appearances and scoring six goals.
2021: He joined Austin Bold FC, making 27 appearances and scoring one goal.
2022–2024: Gordon played for Richmond Kickers, where he made 40 appearances and scored six goals.
2024–present: He returned to Montego Bay United, where he has made 12 appearances and scored six goals as of October 16, 2023.
International Career
Gordon has been capped 18 times for the Jamaican national team, appearing from 2015 to 2018. He scored his first international goal on 14 October 2018 in a 6–0 victory against Bonaire during the 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League qualification.
