Malcolm was born in Jamaica in 1991 and moved to Sunrise, Florida, USA, at the age of nine. He qualifies to play for Guam through his paternal grandmother, and plays as an attacking midfielder.

In addition to being a smart player, he is a GM of Reggae Rovers and serves as Creative Director of other soccer-focused entities: Bootbags, Baselball (ABFC), Football for the World, and Museum of Content.
